These profiles will cut the mix and are useful for their very focused EQ. This mic seemed to mesh very well with the 5E7 circuit with the two having very complimentary EQ curves. We also included profiles marked “906” which feature the E906 single dynamic microphone. ![]() These profiles have healthy portion of low end and low mids with a slightly more strident high end and are extremely pleasing and full with single coil pickups! “F” profiles are designed to have increased fatness and utilize a Fathead 2 and SM57 mic combo also thru API clones. These profiles will feature a warm low end with a an upper mid push and a clear silky high end. We choose for this pack the classic pairing of a Royer 121 and SM57 thru API channel strip clones. ![]() Profiles Marked “M” are of the Mic channel which has less presence than the Instrument channel which is denoted by “I”. It's now in excellent working condition and ready to make music again.The 57 Tweed Band Kemper Profile Pack seeks to recreate the sound of an original 1957 5E7 Fender Bandmaster with original 1957 Jensen Alnico P10 speakers. It sat in storage since the 1970s until a few months ago. He removed the speakers and intended to get it back into good working condition until life got in the way. He played it until it needed service but he didn't have access to a repair technician. On top of that, you get one of the most incredible tremolo/vibrato sounds you. Notes: Roger received this amp as a hand-me-down from his dad when he went off to college in the 1970s. While the Jensen P10Qs lend the amp some of that early breakup of the tweed era. I opted to leave the gray two prong power cord but can have a grounded cord installed at buyer's request. It has just been serviced and operates as intended. ![]() Playability: Excellent! This is a fine sounding example with classic tweed Fender tone intact. The tubes are a mixture of USA made tubes. We installed a replacement Switchcraft external cabinet jack. The power transformer is missing two bolts but is original and in perfect working condition. Metal corners on the cabinet installed by former owner. The original output transformer was rewound by Mercury Magnetics. Originality: All parts original except replacement speakers (Jensen P10R), speaker wiring, filter capacitors and some coupling capacitors, fuse holder, leather handle and brackets. It's now is excellent playing condition and sounds like a dream. This vintage 1957 Fender Bandmaster guitar amp with tweed covering has just come from the son of the original owner. The late 50s tweed covered Fender Bandmaster guitar amplifier combined great looks with sweet tone and powerful performance.
