Note that mutated objects may not update in the Environment pane until the Environment pane is explicitly refreshed. The Environment pane will automatically update to show objects as they are added and removed. When the reticulate Python REPL is active, the RStudio Environment pane will update to show any available Python objects. This can be set within an appropriate R startup file for example, your R installations etc/Rprofile.site. If you have Python installed into a custom location, and you'd like for that location to be visible to RStudio, you can set the following R option: options( = "/path/to/python") If set, that environment variable will take precedence over any value configured via RStudio options.
